Oil on canvas, 40 x 40cm. This painting is a few years old now and one of my first real attempts at the medium. It depicts a scene from the Godfather, just prior to Michael Corleones first kill for the family at an Italian restaurant.
I had an itch to paint and was taken by the image of the old cars in the film, which I watched for the first time that week. A series of film inspired paintings are in the pipeline, I need more excuses to practice with paint.
