A few years ago, when I had been working full time at Baxter Associates, I was asked to be the official photographer for an upcoming event. As our CEO was one of the organisers he knew I had enough skill with a camera to frame the day for them; thus beginning my first paid work as a photographer.
The event was for the Charted Institute of Management Accountants. It was held at the Grand Opera House and it brought speakers into Belfast from across the UK. My job was simply to record the speakers (in video as well) and some of the guests. My aim was to get interesting shots without disrupting the event.
